Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)

crsConsidered the "PhD" of Real Estate, only five percent of REALTORS® nationwide have earned the CRS designation, which requires significant first-hand real estate transaction experience, hundreds of hours of advanced education and National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) membership. Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE)

cdpeThis designation focuses exclusively on tools that enable agents to help those in danger of foreclosure. We have the skills to successfully list, market and sell properties for sellers that are trying to avoid foreclosure. We can also help buyers successfully purchase properties that are short sales.

 
Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI)

griThis is a professional designation for those who have graduated from the REALTOR® Institute, also associated with the National Association of REALTORS®. The GRI training consists of three separate courses of 30 hours classroom time each. While the real estate pre-license courses in each state cover the laws and general real estate information, the GRI courses go into much greater detail on the day to day skills needed to conduct business as true professionals. According to a reference found on a RE/MAX site, it is for REALTORS® "who have completed a comprehensive education program in residential real estate. The program's focus is on practical real estate training."

 
Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (ALHS)

alhsThis is granted to REALTORS® who have extensive training and experience in the Luxury Home market. Requirements include: Completion of the ALHS course, represent a buyer or seller in a transaction exceeding twice the average sales price in the local market, and these transactions have to take place within 24 months of the ALHS course completion date. An ALHS must also be in good standing with the National Association of REALTORS®.

 
Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR)

abrThe Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate BUYER'S AGENT Council (REBAC) of the National Association of REALTORS® who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.
